March 22, 2025 – The Pakistan Rangers (PR) Medical Department is extending an offer and providing Job Opportunities in the form of a wide range of medical job vacancy notices, thus encouraging all potentially qualified personnel to submit their application for their deserving positions.​

Job Opportunities: Available Positions and Qualifications

The current jobs are spread over all levels of medicine and involve roles of the following nature:​

Medical Officers (BPS-17): The participants have to show have an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), a valid PMDC license, along being a member of PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council) or Region procurement Committee.

Specialists (BPS-19): Position opens for different specialties. They need to have MBBS or equivalent qualification, FCPS or equivalent in the relevant specialty, valid PMDC registration, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Accident & Emergency Department.

Deputy Medical Superintendent (BPS-18): The candidates must show MBBS or maybe equivalent qualification along with a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) or Hospital Administration (MHA), valid PMDC registration, and hospital administration experience in the range of 5-8 years.

Matron (BPS-18): The candidates will be required to hold at least a BS (N), BSc Nursing, or an equivalent qualification approved by the Nursing Council of Pakistan, to be duly registered to the Nursing Council, and to have a total of 10 years of experience in the same field, where they should also have worked as a Matron for 5 years. ​

Chief Medical Officer (BPS-18): It requires an MBBS or similar standard qualification, a valid PMDC registration, and 10 years of working time in the Accident and Emergency Department.
