CDA Bus routes of Electric Bus Service: To improve public transportation, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has started the Islamabad electric bus service, welcoming 13 more routes and bringing more reliability across the city. Around 70 buses are running, soon this program give easiness to passengers and help them in there daily traveling.
New CDA Bus routes
The newly introduced CDA bus routes are as
follows: Route FR-1: Police Lines to D-12 Shah Allah Ditta via G-10.
Route FR-2: Nilor to Koral Chowk.
Route FR-3: Taramri Chowk to Aabpara via Park Road.
Route FR-4: PIMS to Bari Imam.
Route FR-5: Pirwadhai Chowk to Faizabad.
Route FR-6: Bhara Kahu to Marghazar Zoo.
Route FR-7: PIMS to NUST.
Route FR-8: PIMS to Taramri.
Route FR-9: Faizabad to Pirwadhai Mor.
Route FR-10: Golra Mor to B-17 Gate No. 2.
Route FR-11: I-16 to 26 Number Chungi.
Route FR-12: G-11 to PIMS.
Route FR-13: F-11 to F-8 Markaz.
The roads that are added are aimed at linking different sectors and major spots of Islamabad, providing the citizens with a safe, reliable, and eco-friendly way of transferring. It is part of the bigger plan of CDA’s, which is to modernize not only public transport but also to reduce traffic problems.
The addition of electric buses in the city is in line with the global trend of urban sustainability of transport, which is a clean alternative to conventional gasoline-powered vehicles.
