Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme 2025: KPK Government Launches Interest-Free Housing Loans

April 18, 2025 – Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has officially announced the launch of the Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme 2025 , a star venture that aims to offer the residents of the province affordable housing on an interest-free loan basis. ​

 As part of this empowering program, the eligible applicants are given interest-free loans of up to Rs. 1.5 million to improve or construct their houses. It is, however, important to mention that this plan also has a built-in mechanism for the professional borrowers who earn a little over Rs. 100,000 per month because they can enjoy a seven-year easy repayment cycle with just maintenance of Rs. 18,000  as monthly installments, a manageable amount. ​

Eligibility Criteria For Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme 2025:

• Do not hold lands or houses of size more than five marlas.
• Be between the ages of 18 and 55 years.
• Their salary is below Rs. 100,000 per month.
• Residency of KPK

With a sum of Rs. 4 billion as the capital, the scheme is run in a revolving fund system setup to ensure it is not only sustainable but also makes a significant positive impact in the far future. ​You can apply with the help of the Bank of Khyber portal, submit your required documents, and the form of the applicant. The deadline date of applying is 8th May 2025.

KPK Housing Department and the Bank of Khyber signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU), whereby the former was charged with the implementation of the project. The event took place at Chief Minister’s House and was attended by Mr. Ali Amin Gandapur, the Chief Minister of KPK, who pointed out the government’s unchanging position to install better living conditions for the people. ​

“We give priority to providing fair housing. The Ehsaas Apna Ghar Scheme demonstrates our support for the welfare of the people,” Chief Minister Gandapur stated. ​

As a component of a more comprehensive plan, this program is aimed at solving housing issues in KPK while at the same time helping to make a long-term, sustainable living arrangement for a great number of families.
