Karachi (August 6, 2025): Famous Pakistani singer Aima Baig has officially announced her marriage to her close friend Zain Ahmed in Canada.
Rumors about Aima Baig’s secret wedding with Zain Ahmed in Canada had been circulating on social media for some time, and fans were waiting for her to either confirm or deny the news.
The circulating news claimed that the singer had tied the knot with Zain Ahmed, the creative director of the brand ‘Rastah,’ in a private ceremony in Canada.
Now, Aima Baig has confirmed the wedding by sharing an Instagram story showing the couple together in their beautiful wedding outfits.
While sharing the story, the singer wrote, “I got married to my friend last night (August 5, 2025), Alhamdulillah.”
She also wrote, “I still feel like it’s a dream, but it’s actually real.”
It should be noted that Aima Baig was previously engaged to actor Shehbaz Shigri, but after some time, the two announced their separation.
Later, in a podcast, the singer explained the reason for breaking the engagement, saying that she and Shehbaz Shigri already had many problems that people did not know about. She added that she did not want to go into details because some other people were involved, and she did not want to expose them.
She said, “Marriage is not just between two people but between two families, and both of our families were very good. They had no issues with each other, but there were many problems between me and Shehbaz.”
Aima Baig further said, “Ending the engagement was a mutual decision, but it was mainly my choice because things were just not working between us, so I thought it was better to end it.”
“When I announced it on social media, people misunderstood me. No one said anything to the other person (Shehbaz Shigri), and only I was blamed. At that time in my life, he was having suicidal thoughts,” she added.
