Rawalpindi (30 July 2025): Field Marshal and Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that national unity is very important in the fight against terrorism.
According to the Pakistan Army’s media wing ISPR, General Asim Munir met with the participants of the National Workshop Balochistan. During the meeting, he spoke about the need for unity and the importance of Balochistan’s development.
Field Marshal Asim Munir said that the Pakistan Army is fully committed to ending terrorism. He also strongly condemned India’s support of terrorist groups.
He said that groups like Fitna Al-Khawarij and Fitna Al-Hindustan are failed proxy projects backed by India. After losing on the battlefield, India has increased its focus on proxy wars. He added that terrorists do not represent any religion, nation, or sect.
He also said that the development projects in Balochistan are key to Pakistan’s overall progress. He stressed the need for cooperation between institutions and a strong national strategy.
General Asim Munir made it clear that Pakistan is committed to regional peace, but is also fully prepared to respond to any threat.
