How Did Pakistan Air Force Shoot Down Indian Rafales? Reuters Brings Out the Truth

A powerful new report by British news agency Reuters reveals how Pakistan shot down Indian Rafale fighter jets. The report is filled with new details and surprising facts.

According to Reuters, on the night of May 7, Indian fighter jets appeared on Pakistan Air Force radars. As soon as the signal was detected, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Sidhu gave the order to launch JF-10C jets.

The report says that Air Chief Sidhu had already given special instructions to target the Rafales. He had been sleeping in the control room for several days. The intense air battle lasted for 2 hours, involving around 110 fighter jets from both sides. Experts believe this was one of the biggest air battles in decades.

As per Khyber Agency, the fall of the Indian Rafale was due to an Indian intelligence mistake, not because of any fault in the Rafale itself. The Indian pilots believed they were flying outside the range of Pakistan’s PL-15 missiles.

But the report highlights that Indian pilots did not expect to be hit from such a long distance. During the battle, Pakistan’s JF-10C jets managed to shoot down at least one Rafale fighter jet.

According to Reuters, India sent 70 fighter jets to attack Pakistan, but Pakistan had fewer jets ready to shoot them down. So instead, Pakistan jammed the Indian radars, leaving Rafale pilots unaware of the situation.

The British news agency also mentioned that Indian pilots were completely surprised when PL-15 missiles hit their jets from 200 kilometers away.
