If Only Pakistan Had a Democratic Leader Like the Field Marshal, Says Faisal Vawda

Islamabad (12 August 2025): Senator Faisal Vawda says that, just as he had predicted, Field Marshal and Army Chief General Asim Munir’s streak of global successes is continuing.

In a post on the social media platform X, Faisal Vawda said that India’s defeat and embarrassment over tariffs is another international achievement of Field Marshal General Asim Munir.

The senator added that the US has declared the Indian-sponsored BLA and Majeed Brigade as global terrorist organizations, which, according to him, clearly proves that India itself is a terrorist.

The former federal minister said that Field Marshal General Asim Munir has proved his abilities on the international stage. “I wish Pakistan also had a democratic leader like him,” Vawda said.

He further stated that in the past there was no true leader, there isn’t one now, and he doesn’t see any in the future. “Let’s see what happens next after this,” he remarked.

It is worth mentioning that in June, during Field Marshal General Asim Munir’s first visit to the United States, Faisal Vawda had said that he was bringing good news for Pakistan.

Speaking to the media outside Parliament House, the senator mentioned that he had told people two and a half months earlier about the Army Chief’s meeting with US President Donald Trump.

He also said that in this meeting, there would be no discussion about PTI founder Imran Khan, and the Army Chief would return with positive news for Pakistan.
