India Worried Over Growing Pakistan-US Relations, Says Bloomberg

Bloomberg has reported that Pakistan’s successful foreign policy has caused concern in New Delhi. The improving ties between Pakistan and the United States are making India uneasy.

According to the well-known American magazine, the US leaning in favor of Pakistan has left India unsettled, while Pakistan’s leadership has gained more confidence after building these new relations with Washington. The report also mentioned that Pakistan remains one of Donald Trump’s preferred countries, which has put pressure on India. It added that Pakistan has played its cards very smartly in dealing with Trump.

A trade agreement between Pakistan and the US was reached smoothly without any issues, while India, in contrast, faced many hurdles in its own trade talks. Bloomberg’s report said Pakistan is among the few countries that have signed a trade deal with the United States during Trump’s term.

Discussions between Pakistan and the US also included joint projects for oil and other minerals. In addition, World Liberty Financial finalized a cryptocurrency agreement in Pakistan.

The report further stated that Field Marshal Asim Munir held an important meeting with Trump at the White House. This new warmth in relations with the US is a big success for Pakistan. According to Bloomberg, India is worried about the strengthening Pakistan-US ties.
