Indian Drone Shot Down in Lahore Border Area

In Lahore’s border area of Manawan, security agencies have shot down an Indian drone. Officials say more details will be shared after the investigation is completed, reported by Save Our Pak channel.

According to details, the incident happened on Jandiala Road in the Manawan area, where security agencies brought down the Indian drone and took it into their custody.

SP Cantt Qazi Ali Raza confirmed that the drone was a hexacopter model. Initial investigations showed that it was a surveillance drone that entered from the Indian side.

He said that the security agencies are conducting a full investigation, and more facts will be revealed once the process is complete. The SP added that the recovery of this drone is yet another attempt by India to violate Pakistan’s borders, which has been successfully stopped.

It is important to mention that recently, the Pakistan Army shot down an Indian quadcopter in the Bhimbhar’s Manawar Sector along the Line of Control.

According to security officials, the Indian drone entered Pakistan’s airspace for spying purposes. However, the army’s quick and effective action foiled the Indian plan.

Sources say that India’s repeated drone intrusions are part of the rising tensions after the Pahalgam incident, during which India has continued its provocative actions and threatening statements.

Military officials stated that the Pakistan Army is always fully prepared to respond strongly to any aggression, and the nation stands united with its armed forces.
