It can be marked as a historic financial milestone in Pakistan’s history as the country saw a ($4.1 billion in remittances in March 2025) record monthly cash flow, which is the highest ever recorded. State Bank (SBP) of Pakistan announced this on the other hand.

The increase of 37.3% when compared to March 2024 and the 29.8% rise from February 2025 is defined by this sudden point. On another note, the total amount of remittances in the first nine months of the fiscal year remaining reached $28 billion, which is a huge increase totaling 33.2%. The sharp remittances that are coming in are expected to do two things. First, they are considered to be a great source of foreign exchange reserves, and second, the economy of the country can also benefit. No reason for this development was given.
