According to details, the first ODI between Pakistan and West Indies was played in Trinidad. The home side gave Pakistan a target of 281 runs, which the Pakistani team chased successfully in the 49th over with 5 wickets in hand. On his debut, Hasan Nawaz scored a brilliant half-century and was named Player of the Match. He built a century partnership with Hussain Talat, which played a key role in securing the win.
