Pakistan Recommends Nobel Peace Prize for Trump After Ceasefire with India

The Government of Pakistan has decided to recommend U.S. President Donald Trump for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. This recommendation is being made for his role in helping to bring a ceasefire between Pakistan and India, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Saturday.

In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the Government of Pakistan said that the international community recently witnessed unprovoked aggression by India against Pakistan. This act was a serious violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and regional peace. Sadly, it also led to the loss of innocent lives, including women, children, and the elderly.

According to the statement, Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan-e-Marsoos as a rightful response under its self-defense rights. The operation was carefully planned and executed with the goal of protecting Pakistan’s borders. At the same time, great care was taken to avoid harming Indian civilians.

The government also appreciated President Trump’s vision and leadership during the conflict. Trump made strong efforts to connect with both Islamabad and New Delhi to reduce tensions in the region. Because of his timely diplomacy, a ceasefire was agreed upon on May 10, 2025, saving South Asia from a possible large-scale war between two nuclear powers.

Pakistan praised President Trump not only for stopping the war but also for trying to help find a long-term solution to the Kashmir issue. The statement said that without implementing the United Nations Security Council resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir, peace in South Asia cannot be guaranteed.

The government further stated that Trump’s leadership during the 2025 Pakistan-India crisis showed his commitment to peace and diplomacy. Pakistan hopes that Trump will continue his efforts for global and regional peace, including solving conflicts in the Middle East.

Meanwhile, President Trump also spoke to the media and demanded a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts. He said, “Give the Nobel Prize for Rwanda, Congo, Serbia, and Kosovo too. The Nobel Prize always goes to liberals. They won’t give it to me.”
