Islamabad: The federal government has announced new petroleum prices for the next 15 days, and once again the price of petrol has gone up, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Wednesday.
The rise in global crude oil prices is still continuing, which is the main reason why petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan have been increased for the coming two weeks.
For the next 15 days, petrol price has gone up by Rs 5.36 per liter, while the price of diesel has increased by Rs 11.37 per liter.
According to the Finance Ministry, an official notification about the price hike has also been issued.
As per the notification, after the increase of Rs 5.36, the new price of petrol is Rs 272.15 per liter.
Similarly, after an increase of Rs 11.37, the new price of high-speed diesel is Rs 284.35 per liter.
The new petroleum prices will be applied from July 16 to July 31.
Meanwhile, sources say that the price of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs 3.10 per liter, and the price of light diesel oil has been reduced by Rs 1.85 per liter.
