Daska (August 6, 2025): A strange robbery took place in Daska when a man, pretending to be a passenger, gave a rickshaw driver an injection to make him unconscious and then robbed him.
According to ARY News Daska correspondent Rana Ghulam Mustafa, the unusual crime happened in the Punjab city of Daska. A robber got into a rickshaw as a passenger and asked the driver to take him to a certain location.
When they reached a deserted area, the robber gave an injection to the rickshaw driver, Azam, which made him unconscious. He then stole his belongings and escaped from the scene.
People passing by saw the unconscious driver and quickly took him to a nearby hospital. Because of the injection’s effect, Azam remained unconscious for eight hours. When he woke up, he realized he had been robbed.
Azam went to the police station and filed a report. According to the police, the robber stole a mobile phone worth 70,000 rupees and 12,000 rupees in cash before running away.
The victim, Azam, said, “I am a poor man. My legs don’t work. I want my stolen money and mobile phone returned to me.”
