Washington (August 9, 2025): The Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Azerbaijan have also suggested that Donald Trump should be given the Nobel Peace Prize.
According to details, the number of countries supporting the idea of giving the Nobel Peace Prize to U.S. President Donald Trump for stopping wars between neighboring countries is increasing. Now, Armenia and Azerbaijan have also joined the list. However, on the other hand, the killing of 60,000 Palestinians in Gaza by Israel has raised serious questions on America and Trump’s peace policy.
The Prime Minister of Armenia said that Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. “Today is the day when the foundation for a safe and peaceful future has been laid,” he said. He praised Trump’s efforts, saying that a peace agreement was possible because of the U.S. President. He also said that Armenia would work with the U.S. for peace and prosperity, and thanked Trump for making a game-changing deal happen.
The President of Azerbaijan said that he would write a letter to the Nobel Committee to nominate Trump for the Peace Prize, calling him the true deserving candidate. He said Trump had done miracles for peace in the past six months. The Azerbaijani President thanked Trump for lifting sanctions, saying this has created a great chance for cooperation in trade and other sectors. “Our people will always remember this day and Trump’s role,” he added.
He further said that Azerbaijan and Armenia had wasted many years in war, which only brought destruction. Now, both countries will move forward with responsibility and try to give future generations a peaceful life.
It is important to note that Donald Trump has helped broker another peace deal, this time between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The deal brought an end to their ongoing war. Trump, the Armenian leader, and the Azerbaijani President signed the peace agreement together. Later, all three leaders held a joint press conference.
Trump said that both the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders had assured him there would be no more war. Instead, they would focus on trade and economics. The U.S. will sign separate trade agreements with both countries, covering energy, trade, and technology including special AI technology deals.
