Rawalpindi (22 November 2025): Security forces carried out an operation in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where 8 terrorists backed by India were killed.
According to a statement issued by the ISPR, security forces and law-enforcement agencies launched an intelligence-based operation in Bannu. During the action, eight members of the India-sponsored group “Fitna al-Khawarij” were eliminated.
The ISPR added that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed terrorists. They were involved in attacks on security forces and innocent civilians.
The statement further said that the operation will continue until all remaining India-sponsored terrorists in the area are taken down. Actions under the Azm-e-Istehkam strategy are ongoing to completely eliminate terrorism.
On 20 and 21 November, security forces conducted two separate operations in different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during which 13 terrorists were killed.
In Lakki Marwat’s Paharkhel area, another intelligence-based action was carried out with the support of law-enforcement agencies.
Weapons and explosives were also recovered from those killed, who were involved in attacks targeting security forces and civilians.
