Peshawar: The results of the Rs750 prize bond draw have been officially announced, and the lucky winning numbers have been released.
According to details, the National Savings Center Peshawar declared the results of the Rs750 prize bond draw number 105 for January 2025. The draw took place on Thursday at 10:00 AM, where many people participated.
After the draw, the numbers for the first and second prizes were announced, while the complete list of winners will be shared later.
National Savings confirmed that the first prize of Rs1.5 million was won by bond number 809258.
The second prize of Rs500,000 was awarded to three bond numbers: 488890, 746418, and 748328.
In addition, 1,696 third prizes, each worth Rs9,300, were also distributed among bond holders.
Meanwhile, the federal government has announced an increase in withholding tax on prize bonds starting from July 2025. According to the notification, tax rates will be 15% for filers and 30% for non-filers.
National Savings also shared that the next draw for the Rs1,500 prize bond will be held on February 16 in Lahore, while another draw of the same amount is scheduled for May 15 in Sialkot.
Prize bonds are a popular saving option in Pakistan and are available in denominations of Rs100, Rs200, Rs750, Rs1,500, Rs25,000, and Rs40,000. They offer a safe way to save money along with a chance to win cash prizes.
