Chance to Win Cash Prizes Up to 1 Million Rupees Major Announcement Released

LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced a big competition where farmers can win cash prizes worth millions of rupees.

According to the details, under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Sona Uglata Punjab” vision, the Agriculture Department has launched a wheat production competition across the province.

The aim of this competition is to support farmers and increase agricultural output. The winning farmers will receive large cash prizes along with tractors. The last date to submit applications is 31 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Male and female farmers who own five or more acres of cultivable land can take part.
  • Documents must be verified by the Tehsil Committee.
  • Applicants must have grown wheat continuously on 15 acres in irrigated areas or 12 acres in rain-fed areas, and they must have used certified seeds of approved varieties.

Prize Details

Provincial Level

  • First Prize: 85-horsepower tractor
  • Second Prize: 75-horsepower tractor
  • Third Prize: 60-horsepower tractor

District Level

  • First Prize: Rs. 10,00,000 cash
  • Second Prize: Rs. 800,000 cash
  • Third Prize: Rs. 500,000 cash

Terms and Conditions

  • Application forms can be downloaded from the Punjab Agriculture Department website: www.agripunjab.gov.pk, and are also available at relevant offices.
  • Applications must be submitted to the Assistant Director Agriculture (Extension) office of the applicant’s area.
  • Members of the National Assembly, Provincial Assembly, Senators, their family members, government employees above Grade 17, and all staff of the Revenue Department and Agriculture Department Punjab are not eligible to participate.
