Pakistan’s Defense Minister Confirms Downing of Five Indian Fighter Jets

Published: May 7, 2025: In a recent growth of conflicts between India and Pakistan, Pakistan Air Force has shot down five Indian fighter jets, as stated by Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif. This is happening because of the action that follows India’s current missile strikes on different areas of Pakistan, “an Act of war.” The label is declared by Islamabad.

Indian Fighter Jets Crushed by Pakistan

Speaking to Geo TV, Defense Minister Asif stated, “In response to India’s recent cross-border violence, Brave Pakistan Air Force shot down five major Indian fighter jets.” Talking to Geo TV, Defense Minister Asif confirmed this news. Along with a Heron drone, the downed aircraft mainly included a mix of Rafale, Su-30, and MiG-29 fighter jets.

India does not accept this loss; the Indian government and media do not accept this defeat. Though this news is confirmed by the local sources in Indian-administered Kashmir, they say that three fighter jets crashed in different areas, with all pilots in the hospital.

“Operation Sindoor,” India knows this operation by this name. India’s military confirmed in their media that they targeted nine sites in Pakistan, which New Delhi claims in the media that terrorist infrastructures connected to a recent attack in Kashmir that killed 26 Indian civilians. Pakistan, however, declares that the attacks hit civilian areas, resulting in at least 26 deaths, including women and children.

In answer to the intensifying battle, Pakistan has placed its armed forces on high alert and official “corresponding actions” to protect its independence.Deep concern had been expressed by the international community including the United nation and major world wide powers, and advised both nations to exercise limitation to prevent further acceleration.

The situation remains volatile and tension continues to rise, with both nuclear-armed neighbors exchanging military and threatening actions. The international public watches closely, hoping for a reduction and a return to political dialogue.
