Procedure to Obtain an Online Learner Driving License
Criteria for Submission:
- For non-commercial licenses applicants must be at least 18 years old and 21 for commercial licenses.
- Ownership of a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is compulsory.
Application Steps:
- Account Formation: Visit the official DLS Sindh website at dls.gos.pk and register by providing your CNIC number, a effective email address, and a password.
- Form Submission: Log in to your account and fill out the application form with precise personal details.
- Document Upload: Upload clear images or photos of your CNIC (front and back) and a recent passport-sized photograph with a white background.
- Fee Payment: After submitting the form, a unique Bill ID will be generated. Use this ID to pay the application fee through JazzCash, Easypaisa, or HBL mobile banking services.
- License Download: Upon effective payment, log back into your account to download and print your learner’s license.
Fee Structure:
- Motorcycle fee: Rs. 50
- Car: Rs. 100
- Car + Motorcycle fee: Rs. 150
- Additional charges include Rs. 100 for medical examination and Rs. 65 for NADRA confirmation.
Legitimacy and Development:
The learner’s license is officialy legal for one year. Holders can apply for a enduring license after 42 days for non-commercial licenses and 90 days for commercial licenses.
