May 7, 2025: Since last night, tension between Pakistan & India has risen. Because of this situation, the Punjab government immediately gave an order to close all educational institution in Punjab province for the safety of people. The main reason for this decision is India’s recent missile attacks on Pakistani territory. Because of this, security concerns in the region have significantly increased.
Educational Institution Remains Closed Till Further Notice
“Operation Sindoor” is a new Indian military operation, including areas in Punjab province, they targets multiple sites in Pakistan. While India declares that the strikes were aimed at a militant structure, Pakistani officials report major citizen losses and damage to non-military sites.
Because of these bad situations, the Punjab School Education Department issued a recent notification declaring that until further notice, all public and private schools remain closed due to security issues. For the safety of students and staff, the closure of the school is a necessary measure in the uncertain security conditions.
For updates on the reopening of schools, students and parents are advised to stay in touch through official channel. Government Authorities and security centers are closely observing the situation and will make decisions based on the new security measures for the protection of people.
Over the recent conflicts between two countries the international communities has also expressed concern, opinion both nations to exercise boundary and need to try hard to solve the situation with peace and dignity. The United Nations and various major countries have called for speedy steps to prevent further measures of peace in the region.
As the situation is still bad and conscious, residents are encouraged to remain attentive and follow safety measures issued by local authorities.
