Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi Thanks Pakistan in Urdu Message on Social Media

Tehran (March 16, 2026): Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi shared a message in Urdu on social media in which he expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its support.

During the ongoing tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, the Iranian foreign minister once again thanked Pakistan for standing with Iran. In a post on the social media platform X, Araghchi wrote that Pakistan showed solidarity with Iran in the face of what he described as aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime.

In his message, he said that Iran remains firm and united for the protection of its regional sovereignty while placing complete trust in Allah. He also thanked both the government and the people of Pakistan for their support and prayers.

Meanwhile, reports say Iran continues launching missile attacks on Israel as part of Operation True Promise IV. Warning sirens were heard in several areas of southern and central Israel during the latest wave of missile strikes.

According to Israeli media, debris from Iranian missiles that were intercepted in the air fell across different parts of central Israel. Israeli rescue officials confirmed that a woman was injured in a ballistic missile attack, and at least one house was damaged during the strike.

Officials also reported that 142 Israelis were injured in the last 24 hours due to the missile attacks. Since February 28, the total number of injured people has reportedly reached 33,050.

According to Al Jazeera, Iran’s newly developed missiles are creating serious concern inside Israel. Experts say the fragments from these missiles can spread across several kilometers, which increases the chances of damage.

Defense analysts also believe that the new Iranian missiles are harder to intercept compared to older systems. Because of this, Israeli authorities have reportedly increased censorship related to missile attacks. Photos and videos showing damage to military or strategic locations are being restricted.

At the same time, Israel is reportedly speeding up efforts to purchase more interceptor missiles and ammunition to strengthen its air defense system.
