The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is officially back on track after the days of tensions. The PSL X will resume on May 17, as confirmed by the PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. By putting an end to rising assumptions over the forthcoming of this landmark tenth edition.

PSL X, which had reached a critical stage before being suspended, was paused due to intensifying security pressures in the region, most notably the outcome of the struggle between Pakistan and India. In a condition of sensitive risk, the PCB had no other choice, which is why they stopped the operations.

While the officially revised schedule is being worked on, the PCB chairman has confirmed that the final will take place on May 25. Only four group-stage fittings are left, which will be followed by four final fixtures.

While Quetta Gladiators are the only team to secure their abilities thus far, Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi are battling for the continuing three slots.

The PCB is also working quickly to reconfirm overseas player availability, with several international cricketers indicating a readiness to return for the league in end of the tournament.
