New Date Announce For PM Laptop Scheme, Deadline Extended

The portal for the PM Laptop Scheme (PMLS) will now remain open for registration until June 1, 2025.
Missing out on the initial deadline provided more students with the opportunity to make use of the scheme and improve their computer knowledge.
An official confirmed that the scheme under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme has been liked by students in many parts of the country.
With the extension, students who were unable to apply earlier now have the chance to apply and receive the program’s aid.
The government is introducing this scheme to ensure that 100,000 talented students receive laptops to support their education and growth.
A great number of students have applied for the scheme by filling out the forms on the website.
A student taking part in a PhD, MS/MPhil, Bachelor’s, or Master’s program and satisfying certain academic needs is eligible to join.
You must have a CGPA of at least 2.80 or 60% in total, and first-year applicants have to present their marks from the HSSC. The results from their previous undergraduate program must be submitted by students in their first semester of MS/PhD study.
Each institution will receive laptops according to a quota, where 18% are given to the higher education institutions in Balochistan and 5% to those learning at a distance.
Of the distance learning quota, 2.5% goes to the Virtual University and 2.5% goes to Allama Iqbal Open University.
Students can either use the Prime Minister’s Digital Youth Hub (DYH) App or visit the official website for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) at www.pmyp.gov.pk to register.
It is recommended that everyone apply for spots early.
After the provisional merit list appears, one will have 15 days to object or raise any issues. After dealing with all the issues, the final merit list will be published.
