Fresh Rs10, Rs50 Currency Note Bundle Rates Rise Ahead of Eid ul Azha 2025

According to the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Eid ul Azha 2025 will be celebrated on Saturday, June 7, in Pakistan.

Defined by prayers, charity, and animal sacrifice, Eid ul Azha is a main Muslim festival. Religious fervor marks the celebration because of the sacrifice of Hazrat Ibrahim and Hazrat Ismail (AS).

Giving Eidi to children blesses them with fresh currency notes, so this activity is higher during Eidul Fitr than during Eidul Azha. Buying animals for sacrifice gets most of the attention and often suppresses the Eidi offering.

But kids are still anticipating crisp new money, because it makes them feel festive and they can purchase small treats, toys or gifts. Though Eidul Fitr gets more attention, many young people still like having fresh currency during Eid ul Adha.

People can buy fresh currency notes from banks or from market vendors. Nobody has to pay the banks for getting new currency notes, while out in the market, traders do charge extra.

One Rs 10 Currency Note Bundle
Shopkeepers in the open market earn by buying and selling the new currency notes. A bundle of Rs 10 notes costing Rs 1,000 is resold for Rs 1200-1300 in the market.

If people cannot withdraw cash from banks, they end up paying more for the bundles so they can give children crisp and fresh banknotes.

Get a Rs50 note bundle for yourself only at Rs7.
On the open market, exchanging a Rs50 currency note bundle worth Rs5,000 requires Rs5,300- 5,500.
