Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was warmly welcomed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at Mina Palace during his official visit to Saudi Arabia. Both leaders shared Eid al-Azha greetings and talked about how they can improve their long-standing friendship and work together more in the future, reported by Save Our Pak channel.
They discussed building stronger connections in many areas, such as politics, business, and culture. Both sides agreed to continue working closely and helping each other. The Crown Prince showed great interest in making this relationship even stronger. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also thanked Saudi Arabia for always being supportive and kind to Pakistan.
Later, a special lunch was arranged for Shehbaz Sharif by Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the Royal Court. In a very respectful move, the Crown Prince himself drove the Prime Minister to the lunch. This friendly moment showed how close the two countries are. Many top leaders from the Middle East, along with Saudi ministers and military officials, were also present at the lunch.
This trip was also spiritually important. On Thursday night, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed Umrah in Makkah, along with Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and other top Pakistani officials. In a rare and honorable moment, the doors of the Holy Kaaba were opened just for them. They prayed inside the Kaaba and thanked God for the progress and development Pakistan has achieved. These blessings were described by officials as the result of the “Bunyan-um-Marsoos” efforts.
The Prime Minister also prayed for the people of Kashmir and Palestine, showing Pakistan’s strong support for Muslims facing injustice. The prayers were full of emotion and care for those who are struggling around the world.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was joined on this visit by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar. This visit was not only diplomatic but also a heartfelt journey for the whole Pakistani team.
