Bulbulay Star Nabeel Jokes About ‘Breathing Tax’ in New Budget

Famous Pakistani actor Nabeel Zafar, best known for his comedy role in Bulbulay, made a funny reaction to the new federal budget. He joked that the government is now putting a tax on breathing too and that has everyone laughing, Reported Save Our Pak News Channel on Wednesday.

Nabeel shared a post on Instagram where he wrote in Urdu, “In the budget, there is a 50% tax on taking shallow breaths and a 100% tax on deep breaths.” The post was clearly a joke but full of smart humor.

His funny post was a way to show how tough things are getting with rising inflation. It was a creative way to say that people are finding it harder to live normally because of so many new taxes.

Even though he was joking, many people agreed with him. They felt that the budget is so tight, it doesn’t even leave space to breathe properly.

His comment also hinted at how even basic needs like oxygen might become expensive if things keep going this way. The message hit hard but made people smile at the same time.

Nabeel’s post quickly went viral. Fans filled his Instagram with laughing emojis and funny replies. A lot of people appreciated how he used humor to talk about a serious problem.

Nabeel has been a popular name in Pakistani TV for years. From playing serious roles in the 1990s to making people laugh with Bulbulay, he has always been loved by viewers.

When he started his acting career, Nabeel used to play emotional and heroic roles. His early dramas were mostly serious and full of deep stories.

He once said that the three dramas Din, Daldal, and Dhuwaan changed his life. These dramas were aired on PTV and became very famous.

While Din and Daldal were shot in Lahore, the drama Dhuwaan was filmed in Quetta. It was Dhuwaan that made Nabeel a household name and brought him fame overnight.

Later, Nabeel decided to try comedy. He believed that in a society where people are sad and stressed, making them laugh is very important. He said that doing comedy gives him peace after playing heavy roles.

In one interview, he shared that doing sad roles is very tough and emotional, so comedy is like a break from all that stress.

Nabeel also believes that drama characters should feel real. He thinks viewers should be able to see themselves in the characters not something far from reality.

Recently, Nabeel came back from Saudi Arabia after performing Hajj for the first time. It was a special moment in his life.

He traveled with well-known TV host Waseem Badami. Both were seen together during their journey, from the airport to different places in Makkah and Madinah.

Three days ago, a post on Instagram confirmed that Nabeel had completed Hajj. It was full of blessings and good wishes: “And Mabrook to @nabeelzafar.official on completing his first Hajj! May Allah accept it from you…”
