Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is going to the United States to attend a special three-day international conference in New York. The event will begin on June 17 and will focus on finding a two-state solution for Palestine, Reported Save Our Pak News Channel on Wednesday.
According to the spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry, Shafqat Ali Khan, the conference is being held under the United Nations. He also said that more details about Ishaq Dar’s visit will be shared by the ministry very soon.
Meeting with UK High Commissioner
Ishaq Dar also met with UK High Commissioner Jane Marriott in Islamabad. They had a meeting where they talked about how Pakistan and the UK can work together on different issues at international forums, especially at the United Nations Security Council.
During the meeting, both sides shared their views on Pakistan-UK relations, and also talked about regional and world matters that are important to both countries. The meeting details were shared in a press release by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office.
