Famous social media personality Rajab Butt, along with his close friend Man Dogar and five others, has been booked by police after a female social media activist accused them of rape, illegal confinement, and blackmail, Reported Save Our Pak News Channel on Wednesday.
The case was registered at Nawab Town Police Station in Lahore after the girl, identified as ‘A’, filed a detailed complaint against the accused. She claimed that she was trapped, abused, and threatened.
According to the FIR, the incident began when girl ‘A’ became friends with a man named Salman Haider on social media. After chatting for a while, they grew closer. One day, Salman invited her to a house on Raiwind Road, where he allegedly drugged her and raped her. He also recorded inappropriate videos and later used those videos to blackmail her again and again.
Things got worse when girl ‘A’ and her sister, known as ‘P’, decided to confront Salman. They went to his house, but they said they were locked in a room by Rajab Butt, Man Dogar, Jawad Haider, Jahangir Butt, and Salman Haider.
In the FIR, girl ‘A’ also stated that Jawad Haider took away their phones, deleted all the data, threatened them, and then threw them out of the house. The police have confirmed that a case is under investigation, and legal steps will be taken after checking all the evidence.
