The government is getting ready to begin early arrangements for Hajj 2026. According to sources, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has completed all preparations and plans to start the registration process within the next 4 to 5 days, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Tuesday.
This time, early registration has been made compulsory so that all arrangements can be done on time, as per the guidelines of the Saudi government. People who want to perform Hajj whether under the government scheme or private scheme must register in advance and submit token money with their application. This amount will be adjusted later in the total cost of Hajj.
Everyone who completes the registration will be considered eligible for Hajj 2026. The registration will be done through approved banks all across the country. Once registered, the pilgrims will have the choice to go with either the official Hajj scheme or the private one.
People who had planned for this year’s private Hajj but couldn’t go will also need to register again. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has asked for this early registration to help collect correct data and to allocate Hajj quotas properly.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs is expected to release an official advertisement in 2 to 3 days, after which registration will officially begin throughout the country.
New Umrah Visa Rules Announced by Saudi Arabia
On the other hand, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has made its new Umrah visa policy stricter, and the new rules are already in effect.
According to Arab media, now international Umrah visitors will only get a visa if their accommodation booking is recorded on the “Nusuk Masar” digital platform. This new policy is part of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to improve religious tourism using modern technology and high-quality services.
All Umrah service providers, companies, and international agents have been strictly told to only book licensed hotels approved by the Saudi Ministry of Tourism, and they must upload full details of the booking on the Nusuk Masar platform.
The ministry clearly said that any agency or provider who doesn’t follow these new rules may face visa delays or heavy fines. These new rules have been in effect since June 10, 2025.
Now, Nusuk Masar has become the main digital gateway for all Umrah services. Pilgrims can use it not just for booking visas and accommodation, but also to get educational guidance in multiple languages.
