Pakistan’s National Security Adviser and ISI Chief, Lieutenant General (R) Muhammad Asim Malik, visited China recently. During his meetings with Chinese leaders, both sides agreed to strengthen their cooperation in security matters, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel On Wednesday.
General Asim Malik went to China to attend the meeting of the Security Council Secretaries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). In the meeting, he shared Pakistan’s views on global and regional security. He also highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region.
He said that Pakistan believes in peaceful relations with its neighbors and wants to work together in a positive way. This policy, he said, is one of Pakistan’s top priorities.
During his visit, General Asim Malik also met with top Chinese officials. In those meetings, both countries agreed to expand their security cooperation even more.
They talked about building long-term peace in the region, fighting terrorism together, and making their strategic partnership stronger. General Asim Malik assured the Chinese leadership that Pakistan will fully support all joint efforts.
