India’s Attempt to Involve Others in a Two-Sided Conflict Is a Weak Political Move Field Marshal Asim Munir

Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that India’s effort to explain its failure in Operation Sandor with baseless excuses shows its lack of preparation and weak long-term planning. He added that trying to involve other countries in a purely two-sided military conflict is a poor political strategy by India, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Monday.

Field Marshal Asim Munir, who holds the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), visited the National Defence University in Islamabad where he spoke to the graduating officers of the “National Security and War Course.” During his speech, he talked about how the nature of war has changed. He highlighted the need for strong mental preparation, practical knowledge, and professional training to deal with modern challenges effectively.

The Army Chief also praised the role of institutions like the National Defence University in preparing future leaders who are ready to face hybrid, traditional, and non-traditional threats. He stressed the importance of better coordination between civilian and military departments in Pakistan.

Field Marshal Asim Munir said that India failed to reach its military goals during Operation Sandor. He added that India’s poor excuses for this failure show that it lacks proper planning and vision. He also rejected India’s claims that Pakistan succeeded in Operation Bunyan-e-Marsoos because of foreign help. He called these claims irresponsible and false.

He said such statements from India only show their unwillingness to accept Pakistan’s success in Operation Bunyan-e-Marsoos. Pakistan’s victory was due to decades of solid planning, local strength, and strong institutions not outside help.

According to the Army Chief, India’s attempts to involve other countries in what is clearly a two-party conflict show poor politics. He said India is trying to build a false image of itself as a regional “net security provider,” even though other countries in the region are tired of India’s aggressive behavior and extremist ideology.

He further said that unlike India, which acts selfishly, Pakistan has always built strong relations based on peace, mutual respect, and responsible diplomacy. He said Pakistan has proven itself as a key regional stabilizer.

Field Marshal Asim Munir made it clear that any adventure against Pakistan, or any attempt to harm its sovereignty, will be met with a strong and instant response. If anyone tries to attack Pakistan’s cities, army bases, economic centers, or ports, they will face a very serious and painful response one stronger than they can imagine. The blame for any crisis that comes from such actions will fall on the arrogant and blind Indian leadership that fails to understand the risks of provoking a nuclear power.

He added that wars are not won with big media talks, fancy imported weapons, or political slogans. Real wars are won with strong belief, professional skills, clear plans, strong institutions, and national unity.

Field Marshal Asim Munir also expressed complete trust in the professionalism, spirit, and battle-readiness of Pakistan’s armed forces. He advised the graduating officers to always stay honest, selfless, and fully committed to serving the nation.
