Dubai (September 1, 2025): The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the new T20 player rankings, and Pakistan’s Saim Ayub has become the number one T20 all-rounder.
The young Pakistani all-rounder Saim Ayub has overtaken India’s Hardik Pandya to claim the top spot in the ICC Men’s T20 All-Rounder rankings.
According to the latest ICC update, Saim Ayub moved up 4 places after his impressive bowling in the Asia Cup, reaching the number one position. Hardik Pandya is now at second place in the T20 all-rounder rankings.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s experienced cricketer Mohammad Nabi is at third position with 231 points. Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz improved by 4 places to reach 13th, while Faheem Ashraf also gained 4 spots and is now ranked 35th.
In the T20 bowler rankings, Varun Chakravarthy from India continues to hold the number one spot. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed, however, dropped by 3 places and is now at 7th position.
India’s Kuldeep Yadav made big progress, moving up 9 places to reach 12th. Pakistan’s Shaheen Afridi also climbed 12 spots and is now at 14th position. On the other hand, Sufiyan Muqeem slipped 3 places and moved down to 19th.
In the T20 batter rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma is still at number one. Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka jumped 2 spots and is now at fifth position.
Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan made a huge leap, going up 11 places to reach 13th. However, Babar Azam dropped 2 spots and is now ranked 37th, while Mohammad Rizwan fell 3 spots to 41st.
