No Space for War in a Nuclear World Field Marshal Warns India

Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir has strongly warned India that “in a nuclear environment, there is no room for war between the two countries.” He gave this message during a powerful speech at the passing-out parade of the 152nd PMA Long Course at Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, Abbottabad.

Field Marshal Asim Munir said it was an honour for him to review the parade. He congratulated the cadets from Bangladesh, Iraq, Mali, Maldives, Nigeria, Nepal, Palestine, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and Yemen on their successful training completion.

He said that since the creation of Pakistan, the armed forces — with the full support of the nation — have always protected the country. In the recent operation “Ma’rakat-ul-Haq / Bunyan-ul-Marsoos”, Pakistan defeated the enemy and strengthened the nation’s trust even more.

He explained that during these military operations, Pakistan successfully shot down enemy Rafale jets, targeted S-400 systems, and destroyed multiple enemy bases, showing its strong multi-domain warfare capabilities.

The Army Chief said Pakistan stood united like a steel wall with the blessing of Allah and national determination. Pakistan defeated an enemy full of arrogance and superiority. He criticized India for avoiding neutral investigations and for using terrorism as a political tool. He also said the Indian government tried to politicize the situation with false claims.

General Asim Munir said Pakistan achieved a clear victory against a much larger enemy and gained the trust and praise of its people and the international community. He added that this victory has strengthened the youth’s belief that the Pakistan Army is a core pillar of national strength.

He assured the nation that not even an inch of Pakistani soil will ever be handed over to the enemy. Paying tribute to the martyrs, veterans, and their families, he said their sacrifices allow us to live freely today.

“You should be proud,” he told the young cadets, “that you are becoming part of one of the world’s most powerful and respected armies. The enemy is trying to create division between our people and armed forces, but they will never succeed.”

Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized that Pakistan’s defense strategy is based on credible deterrence and constant readiness, which includes all aspects of its defense capabilities.

He warned, “If aggression is repeated, the enemy will face a response far stronger than they expect. Our weapons can reach far and destroy the enemy’s geographical ambitions.”

Sending a clear warning to India, he repeated, “In a nuclear environment, there is no space for war between our two countries. India must resolve its issues based on international principles, equality, and mutual respect. We will not be scared by statements, and any provocation will be met with a decisive response.”

Field Marshal also warned that any future conflict will be India’s responsibility, which could be disastrous for the entire region and beyond.

He noted that around the world, the use of violence for political goals is changing, and Pakistan is now seen as a “net regional stabilizer” in South Asia.

General Asim Munir further shared that Pakistan’s relations with global powers and Muslim countries have become stronger. Pakistan has played a key role in promoting peace and stability in the region and across the world, and its armed forces are making important contributions to UN peace missions.

He ended his speech by saying, “We are united, we are strong, and with Allah’s help, we are ready to face every challenge.”
