The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest T20 rankings, and Pakistan’s young star Saim Ayub has returned to the top spot as the No.1 T20 all-rounder.
According to the new rankings, Saim Ayub is now ranked first with 294 rating points, moving ahead after Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza dropped down the list.
This is not the first time Saim Ayub has earned the No.1 all-rounder title—he previously reached the top position in the first week of October as well. Meanwhile, Mohammad Nawaz has climbed from seventh place to fourth place in the all-rounder rankings.
In the batting list, India’s Abhishek Sharma is still holding the No.1 spot, while England’s Phil Salt is in second place. Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan has slipped two positions and moved from fourth to sixth place.
Pakistan’s rising spinner Abrar Ahmed has also made impressive progress. He has jumped from eighth position to fourth place in the T20 bowling rankings. Mohammad Nawaz has also moved up two spots and now sits at 11th place.
In ODIs, Babar Azam remains steady at sixth position in the batting rankings. India’s former captain Virat Kohli has climbed one spot and is now ranked fourth.
In ODI bowling, Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed holds the ninth position.
