Rawalpindi: Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, has warned India that if tensions rise again, Pakistan’s reaction will be even quicker and more powerful than before.
According to details, while addressing officers from all three branches of the armed forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir said the newly established Defence Forces Headquarters is a historic milestone and a major structural change designed to meet future challenges.
He explained that due to rising and evolving threats, it is important for the Army, Navy, and Air Force to carry out multi-domain operations in a more united and synchronized way.
The creation of the Defence Forces Headquarters, he said, is a key step toward this new integrated system.
Field Marshal Asim Munir added that each service will maintain its own identity and operational readiness, but the new headquarters will coordinate and streamline operations across all three forces.
He stressed that with the unity of the highest leadership, the armed forces will continue functioning with their internal autonomy and organizational structure.
While speaking about India, Field Marshal Asim Munir delivered a strong message:
“India should not live under any illusion. Next time, Pakistan’s response will be even faster and far more intense.”
He also stated that a clear warning has been given to the Taliban regime: they must choose between supporting extremist elements or maintaining a relationship with Pakistan — there is no middle ground.
Field Marshal Asim Munir emphasized that Pakistan is a peace-loving country, but no one will be allowed to challenge its sovereignty, territorial integrity, or national resolve.
He concluded by saying, “Everyone must understand that the idea of Pakistan is undefeatable, protected by brave soldiers and a united nation full of faith and determination.”
