Abdul Qadir Patel’s Tone Changes After Reading Note from Asifa Bhutto

Islamabad: During a National Assembly session, the tone of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) lawmaker Abdul Qadir Patel changed immediately after reading a note from Asifa Bhutto.

According to details, while speaking in the National Assembly about the tragic Gul Plaza incident in Karachi, Abdul Qadir Patel was strongly criticizing the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM). At that moment, First Lady and PPP lawmaker Asifa Bhutto sent a note to him through fellow PPP lawmaker Shazia Marri.

As soon as Abdul Qadir Patel read the note, his tone shifted completely. Instead of blaming any party, he began emphasizing unity and the need for all political parties to work together to find solutions to national problems.

Abdul Qadir Patel stated that tragedies cannot be solved through political confrontation but require mutual cooperation.

During the session, the video showing Shazia Marri handing over the note went viral on social media. This sparked numerous interesting and humorous comments from users.

Earlier in his speech, Abdul Qadir Patel had directly criticized MQM for the Gul Plaza tragedy. However, after receiving the note, his stance noticeably became more moderate and conciliatory.
