Islamabad (January 31, 2026): The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has issued important instructions for candidates planning to appear in the Central Superior Services (CSS) Examination this year.
According to a public notice released by FPSC, the CSS 2026 written examinations will begin on February 4, 2026. All registered candidates have been directed to strictly follow the newly issued guidelines.
The notice advises candidates to check the validity of their CNIC or passport well before the exam date. If the document has expired, candidates must get it renewed immediately.
FPSC has clearly stated that expired CNICs or passports will not be accepted for entry into the examination hall. Any candidate carrying an expired document will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
Candidates have also been instructed to reach their assigned seats at least 50 minutes before the exam start time to complete identification and other required procedures. Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter the examination hall under any circumstances.
The commission further clarified that no extra materials such as stencils, additional papers, notes, or any unauthorized items will be allowed inside the examination hall. Candidates may only bring items that are already approved in the official instructions.
FPSC emphasized that candidates must follow both the new guidelines and all previously issued rules. Any violation may result in disciplinary action, including possible disqualification from the examination.
