Islamabad: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has clearly stated that there is no deal or special relief being offered to PTI. He said that such rumors are only being spread to give false hope to party supporters.
While speaking to ARY News, Khawaja Asif said that no discussions about any deal have taken place at any level. However, he added that it is possible some individuals may have approached authorities regarding certain facilities or arrangements.
He further said that people should decide whether they care more about the country or about one individual. He also commented that some individuals might be making such claims to protect their own positions or secure their jobs.
Talking about Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to the United States, the Defence Minister said the trip was successful. He said the participation of Muslim countries in the Gaza Peace Board could lead to positive outcomes. He prayed that Allah grants freedom to the Palestinian people and protects Pakistan from its enemies.
