Pakistan has successfully launched its locally developed electro-optical satellite with the help of China.
According to SUPARCO, the EO-3 satellite was launched from a Chinese satellite launch center. This marks an important step forward for Pakistan in the space sector.
As per ISPR, the launch of the EO-3 satellite is a major milestone. It shows Pakistan’s growing ability in technology and its move towards self-reliance in space development.
The satellite will provide high-quality imaging data that can be used for city planning, disaster management, food security, and environmental protection. Experts believe this data will help improve decision-making in many sectors.
ISPR also stated that EO-3 will act as part of an integrated Earth observation system. It will support national priorities and help in long-term social and economic development.
