Rs. 2000 Fine Announced for Riding Motorcycles Without Indicators

The Punjab Traffic Police has announced a strict fine for motorcycle riders who drive without using indicators.

According to officials, anyone riding a motorcycle without proper turn indicators will have to pay a fine of Rs. 2000. The traffic police have urged riders to follow road safety rules seriously, especially the use of indicators while turning.

Authorities said that ignoring indicators is not only a traffic violation but also a major cause of road accidents. It puts both the rider and other people on the road in serious danger.

The traffic police also explained that installing working indicators is not expensive. The estimated cost is around Rs. 400, which is a small amount compared to the safety it provides. Spending this small amount can help prevent accidents and save lives.

In addition, the traffic police advised riders to wear helmets and keep their motorcycles in good condition to ensure safety on the roads.

Officials have clearly warned that there will be no leniency, and strict fines will be imposed on anyone who breaks these rules.
