The schedule for the T20 tri-nation series between Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been officially released.

The tournament will take place in Sharjah from August 29 to September 7. Each team will play two matches against the other teams.

The opening match will be held on August 29 between Pakistan and Afghanistan, while the final will be played on September 7.

Full Schedule of the Tri-Nation Series:

  • August 29 – Afghanistan vs Pakistan
  • August 30 – UAE vs Pakistan
  • September 1 – UAE vs Afghanistan
  • September 2 – Pakistan vs Afghanistan
  • September 4 – Pakistan vs UAE
  • September 5 – Afghanistan vs UAE
  • September 7 – Final

Pakistan Wins First T20 Against West Indies by 14 Runs

In another update, Pakistan defeated West Indies by 14 runs in the first match of their three-game T20 series.

The match was held in Lauderhill, Florida, USA. West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and chose to bowl first.

Pakistan scored 178 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Saim Ayub scored a brilliant 57 runs, while Fakhar Zaman added 28 runs.

Hasan Nawaz scored 24, Faheem Ashraf made 16, and Sahibzada Farhan contributed 14 runs. Captain Salman Ali Agha remained not out with 11 runs, and Mohammad Haris stayed unbeaten on 6.

In reply, West Indies scored 164 runs for 7 wickets, falling short by 14 runs. Johnson Charles and Jewel Andrew both scored 35 runs, while Jason Holder added 30.

From Pakistan’s bowling side, Mohammad Nawaz took 3 wickets, and Saim Ayub grabbed 2 wickets.

Thanks to his all-round performance, Saim Ayub was named Player of the Match. He scored 57 runs and took 2 wickets. While speaking after the match, he said, “Whatever role the team gives me, I try my best to fulfill it properly.”

It’s worth noting that Pakistan and West Indies have faced each other in 21 T20 matches. Out of these, Pakistan won 15, West Indies won 3, and 3 matches had no result.
