Security forces carried out several successful intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing 34 terrorists belonging to the group Fitna-ul-Khawarij.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted multiple operations across the province. During these actions, 34 terrorists of Fitna-ul-Khawarij were eliminated.
ISPR’s spokesperson said that the forces launched an intelligence-based operation in the Spinn Wam area of North Waziristan, where a heavy exchange of fire took place. In this encounter, 18 terrorists were killed.
The report further stated that another operation in South Waziristan resulted in the killing of 8 more terrorists, while 8 others were neutralized in Bannu during a similar operation.
ISPR added that a sanitization process is now underway to clear the region of any remaining hideouts linked to Indian-sponsored terrorists and to ensure lasting peace.
Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for their bravery and professionalism during these operations. He appreciated their success in sending 34 foreign-backed terrorists to hell and said that the courageous officers and soldiers of Pakistan’s forces are the pride of the nation.
