In the recent 271st Corps Commanders Conference, it was clearly stated that continuing operations against Indian-sponsored proxy networks is necessary and must not stop, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Saturday.
The meeting was led by Field Marshal Asim Munir, where special prayers were offered for the soldiers who were martyred in recent terrorist attacks carried out by Indian-backed proxies. The forum also reviewed the recent achievements of Pakistani forces in fighting these proxy militants.
The participants showed strong determination, saying that the sacrifices of our martyrs will not be forgotten. They said that the safety and security of the people of Pakistan is the top priority of the armed forces.
The forum said that strong and well-planned operations against Indian-backed proxies must continue without delay. It was also pointed out that India is trying to promote its harmful agenda using groups like Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.
Army Chief General Asim Munir said that India’s attempt to bring in third parties into military tensions and push for “bloc politics” is baseless. He added that India is wrongly trying to present itself as the main security provider of the region.
The Army Chief also said that the world is now seeing the real face of India’s aggressive expansion plans and its extreme Hindutva ideology.
The conference included a briefing on how war is changing, the new threats Pakistan is facing, and the military’s updated strategies. General Asim Munir appreciated the Navy and Air Force leadership for their role in strengthening cooperation between the three forces. He also expressed full confidence in the operational readiness of the Pakistan Army to deal with any challenge.
According to ISPR, the forum was given a briefing on the successful visits of the Army Chief with the Prime Minister to countries like Iran, Türkiye, and Azerbaijan. They were also briefed about the joint diplomatic efforts in visits to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which helped promote Pakistan’s active role in regional diplomacy.
The forum also received a detailed update on the Army Chief’s historic visit to the United States, where he directly presented Pakistan’s point of view to top U.S. leaders. Important discussions took place on both regional and global matters during this visit.
Lastly, the Corps Commanders Forum reviewed Pakistan’s internal and external security situation in light of the recent developments in the Middle East and Iran. They expressed concern over the growing global trend of using military force as a main policy tool.
