Karachi (22 September 2025): After the Asia Cup, Pakistan and India’s cricket teams will face each other again and bring more excitement for the fans.

In the ongoing Asia Cup in the UAE, the traditional rivals Pakistan and India have already played two matches. There is also a chance that the two sides may meet again in the tournament final on 28 September.

However, even after the Asia Cup, cricket fans will get to see both teams clash once more in October. This high-voltage match will take place in Colombo on 5 October.

But this time, it will not be the men’s teams. Instead, the women’s teams will face each other in a group-stage match of the ICC Women’s One Day World Cup on 5 October.

The ICC Women’s One Day World Cup will start on 30 September. This cricket festival will last for 34 days, with 31 matches including the final. The semi-finals are scheduled for 29 and 30 October, while the final will be played on 2 November.

Eight teams are taking part in the World Cup. The tournament will be played on a single-league basis. Each team will play seven group matches, and the top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals.

Pakistan’s women’s team will leave for Sri Lanka tomorrow for the One Day World Cup. The Green Shirts will begin their campaign on 2 October with a match against Bangladesh and will face their traditional rival India on 5 October.

Pakistan will then play against Australia on 8 October, England on 15 October, New Zealand on 18 October, South Africa on 21 October, and will finish the group stage with a match against host Sri Lanka on 24 October.
