(3 October 2025): A new flotilla, carrying about 100 activists, has started its journey towards Gaza to break Israel’s illegal blockade.
The Freedom Flotilla Coalition said on the social media platform X that the boats left Italy on Wednesday with around 100 participants.
The group added that the convoy includes nine boats, with many doctors and journalists on board. They named the flotilla “Conscience Boat.”
According to live tracking data, these nine boats are currently off the coast of the Greek island Crete. There is a possibility that if the boats continue toward Gaza, the Israeli navy may try to stop them.
Yesterday, the Israeli navy stopped 42 ships of the Global Sumud Flotilla from reaching Gaza. About 470 activists on board were detained, including some Pakistanis.
The Global Sumud Flotilla aimed to deliver food, medicine, and other essential items to Palestinians in Gaza, but Israel attacked the convoy in Gaza’s waters.
Protests and demonstrations are being held in various countries against stopping the Global Sumud Flotilla.
