Peshawar: Good news for government employees who want to buy cars or build houses , they will now be able to get loans on easy installments.
According to details, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to give interest-free loans to government employees from Grade 1 to 17.
The official letter says these loans can be paid back in easy installments.
This year, the government has set aside a total of 340 million rupees for this scheme in the budget. Out of this, 100 million rupees are for Secretariat employees, while 240 million rupees are for other government employees’ loans.
According to the letter, employees who want to buy a car will get an advance of 200,000 rupees, while those who want to build a house can get up to 250,000 rupees as a loan.
Government sources say this step aims to give financial support to provincial employees and reduce their economic burden.
