In Islamabad, the police have made a big decision against people driving cars without a driving license.
Islamabad Police said that from October 1st, cases will be registered and arrests will be made against anyone driving without a license. This rule will apply to both private and government vehicles without any exception.
Police also said that IG Islamabad, Ali Nasir Rizvi, has given clear instructions to the traffic police about this action.
For government drivers, a facility has been set up in their offices so they can easily get their driving licenses.
Police officials added that until a person gets a driving license, no character certificate will be issued along with the case registration.
Drivers arrested for not having a license will also not be given personal bail.
