The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has announced major financial support for affected families in North Waziristan and Khost. Under the new aid package, each family will receive Rs12,120 in cash every month along with food ration worth Rs8,000.
According to official details, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority has approved the release of millions of rupees for pending payments of July and August 2025.
Officials said that a total of 17,788 affected families will benefit from this support program. The aid package includes both direct cash assistance and monthly food supplies to help families manage daily needs.
The official notification stated that more than Rs7.18 billion has been released for the relief program. Every family will receive monthly cash support, while separate food ration assistance will also be provided.
Authorities confirmed that payments will be transferred through mobile SIM systems to ensure transparent and direct delivery of funds to the deserving families.
The concerned departments have been instructed to complete the distribution process as soon as possible. Officials also clarified that this financial support is only for the months of July and August 2025.
The statement further added that any unused funds or service charges must be returned within 60 days. Relevant authorities have also been ordered to provide complete records and audit details to PDMA.
The main goal of this relief package is to reduce the financial problems of affected families and provide them with timely support for their basic needs.
