Celebrities Speak Out on Balochistan Honour Killing After Shocking Video

Celebrities have strongly condemned a brutal killing in Balochistan in the name of honour after a shocking video went viral on social media, as Reported By Save Our Pak News Channel on Monday.

The disturbing video, which spread quickly online, shows armed men shooting an unarmed couple in broad daylight.

According to a BBC report, the attackers were speaking in the Brahui language with an accent commonly heard in Quetta and Mastung.

This incident shocked the entire country. People from civil society, religious scholars, political leaders, and celebrities all condemned this brutal act.

Actor Talha Chahour called it “a stain on humanity” and said it reflects how our society still limits women’s freedom.
He said, “The public execution of a couple for simply loving each other is a shame for humanity. How can people justify filming, photographing, and celebrating blood? The woman’s calm reaction shows how society has killed freedom and choice.”

He urged people to take action against this violence:
“We need to fight these monsters and break the system that allows such crimes. Will we keep accepting women’s suffering in the name of honour, or will we demand equality?”

Talha also pointed out the most heartbreaking part:
“The girl walked calmly toward death. No begging, no shouting—just silence. That silence was louder than any protest.”

Actress Mishi Khan also shared her pain and anger. She criticized how people ignore such crimes and fail to hold anyone accountable.
“I don’t have words to explain how I feel,” she wrote in her Instagram post, calling the incident a terrible crime.

Other public figures also stressed that Pakistan needs stricter law enforcement and real social change to protect women’s lives and basic rights.
